If you’re curious about sugaring and whether it’s right for you, this page breaks it all down in simple, real‑life terms.

What is sugaring?

Sugaring is a natural method of hair removal using a paste made of sugar, lemon, and water. The paste is kept lukewarm (never hot), applied against the direction of hair growth, and flicked with hair growth. This helps remove hair from the root with less breakage and less irritation.

Why it’s different

The paste is water‑soluble, so it doesn’t stick to live skinβ€”only to hair and dead skinβ€”making it a great choice for sensitive skin.

Why clients love it

Gentler feel: No hot wax; paste is room temp/warm.

Smoother results: Less breakage can mean longer‑lasting smoothness.

Great for sensitive skin: Minimal residue; easy rinse‑off with water.

Fewer ingrowns (with proper aftercare): We remove with the direction of growth.

Clean ingredients: Just sugar, lemon, water. Biodegradable and water‑soluble.

SUGARING FAQS

How often should I sugar?

1

Every 3–5 weeks for most areas. With consistent appointments, hair can grow back finer and sparser over time (results vary by person and hormones).

Does it hurt?

You’ll feel quick flicks, but most find sugaring gentler than waxing. The first time is often the spiciestβ€”then it gets easier.

2

Can I sugar while pregnant?

3

In many cases, yes. Skin can be more sensitiveβ€”tell us how you’re feeling and we’ll take good care of you.

Is it sanitary?

Absolutely. We use clean gloves, fresh paste, and never double-dip.

4

Will it remove a spray tan or self-tan?

5

It can lift itβ€”schedule your sugaring before tanning.

Can men sugar?

Yes, I offer sugaring services for men. However, I do not provide Brazilian, manzilian, bikini, or any intimate hair removal services for male clients.
